I am exploring my creative practice further with a focus on experimenting with mediums, installations and activations in the public realm and collaborations to bring creative ideas to fruition.
I am currently undertaking a Masters of Art in Public Space at RMIT, developing my knowledge and skills in historical, theoretical and practical aspects of art in public space, critically examining the relationship between art and public space and exploring diverse curatorial approaches and developing a professional practice. I wish to expand my knowledge, and critical and creative thinking about art in public spaces, the use of space, activations and apply it both to my work and creative practice.
I completed a Bachelor of Arts in Fine Art which provided me with foundational training and experience in painting, multimedia, sculpture, photography, printmaking and art theory and curatorship and exhibitions management. During this time I discovered my passion for public art, sculpture and installation. I focused on exploring a variety of different mediums and their application such as fibreglass resin, wax, glass and glass kiln slumping, gold and silver-smithing, metal and wood work, felt, latex, shellac, leather, oil, acrylics and pigments, plaster and porcelain, egg tempera and more to enhance my concepts.
