State of Design Festival - Design that Moves

A Victorian Government, Department of Business and Innovation initiative, the State of Design Festival 2011 was a twelve-day festival that presented the community with over 112 innovative design events across a variety of venues and public spaces within the city and wider Victoria, with the support of over 100 event contributors and 75 sponsors, attracting over 155,000 participants. 

As Festival Coordinator I managed the day to day running of festival HQ, supported over 45 independent designers on the Design for Everybody program, managed all major events like Festival Keynote at Fed Square, Design For Everyone, regional Victoria Education events, Design for Business presented at the Wheeler Centre, Design:Made:Trade and opening night, program launch, sponsorship dinners. I also inducted and manage 70 festival volunteer and reported the festival and acquittal report to the Victorian Government and sponsorship.
