Creative and Cultural Activations - RMIT University
Invited to the party, and asked to dance
I lead the development and delivery experiences, space and place activations and events that enhance the student experience and their connections both inside and outside the university.
Integral to this position is codesigning the types of initiatives with students and staff, as well as developing partnerships with external organisations to provide relevant and diverse experiences.
The program includes major events such as Orientation Week, Open Day, Winter and Summer Break campaigns; campus activations and corporate partnerships; creative, active and discovery trips and tours of the city and wider Victoria; and the Campus Store a hub that promotes all Student Life initiatives from Creative Collectives to Elite Athletes as well as the sale of RMIT merchandise.
It also includes learning and development opportunities for students such as the Mates at RMIT Program, a social mentoring program, student volunteers supporting new students transition to university and Melbourne life and student casual program where we recruit, train and employ students to work with us on developing and delivering our programs.
